English 11

Below follows the course information for English eleven, as provided by the course planning guides.

Prerequisite: English 10 (EN10)

English 11 is a compulsory course, which conytains wortks from
various literary genres including the short story, the novel, drama,
and poetry. Canadian literature, as well as formal instruction in
language and writing, forms a substantial component of this course.
Students will read and discuss literature, write essays, develop
projects and “creative works,” and participate in seminars. When
possible, local authors will be invited to the school to participate in
individual classes.
