English 12

Below follows the course information for English twelve, as provided by the course planning guides.

Prerequisite: English 11 (EN11)

English 12 uses the literature materials from the Ministry of Education, combined with language and writing instruction.

The development of sophisticated communication and critical
thinking skills is the main goal of this course. To accomplish this,
specific instruction is offered in literary analysis and the
composition of essays.

As in previous English courses a great deal of reading and writing is expected of the students.
