Applications of Mathematics 10

Prerequisite: Principles of Mathematics 9

This course is designed for students who found Principles of Mathematics 9 difficult and who do not plan to take Calculus in university. It emphasizes problem solving rather than symbol manipulation. Topics include arithmetic, functions, 2 and 3 dimensional shapes, co-ordinate geometry and data collection and analysis. A graphics calculator (TI83 Plus) is required for this course.
