PG's Brightest Young Minds

On April 30, the presidents of our PG Science Club, Max Allman and Eddie Liu, competed in the 8th annual BC's Brightest Minds competition hosted by the UBC Physics department at PNE. They won 1st place and brought home $1200 scholarship, beating the top students from 22 schools across BC in this challenging critical thinking science competition that uses Playland at the PNE as a real-life case study.

Congratulation to Max Allman and Eddie Liu!

Graphics Field Trip

Graphic Communication 10 enjoyed a field trip to the Western Business District of Vancouver. Starting from the Vancouver Art Gallery, students explored the many interesting buildings found in this part of Vancouver including the Marine Building, the Vancouver Club, Century House, the Standard Building, Sinclair Centre and the Manhattan Apartments. Students will be creating a two page magazine spread using the photographs and notes that they took on this field trip.
