The senior girls volleyball team begins their city championship play on monday with a quarter final match at kits. the tournament runs every day this coming week.
The senior boys soccor defeated Churchill 4-1 last Thursday to keep their season alive. Goals from Takuma Cottle (2), Ari Havusha, and Clarke Ohman helped lead the Hounds to victory. Next up is a must win game vs Eric Hamber on Tuesday, if we win that we will face another must win game on Thursday with the winner of that game advancing to the BC's.
Tomorrow at lunch there is an important girls hockey team meeting in Mr. Hamiltons room.

Last Thursday the boys defeated Eric Hamber 2-1 in a quarter final, led by the strong goalkeeping of Jack Ferris and goals from Robbie Zukerman and EJ Sim.
Next up for the Hounds is a semi final against Lord Byng Tuesday October 23rd, 3:30 kickoff at Camosun Park. Come out and support the team!
Eight Point Grey students have been recognized and honoured for their choral talent by being selected to the BC Provincial Honour Choir under the auspices of the BC Music Educators Association. The students went through a challenging selection routine that included a rigorous audition process.
Congratulations to Sophie Cullen (grade 12), Patrick Change (grade 12), Nick Hui (grade 12), Sophie Brauer (grade 11), Magda How (grade 11), Alex Nastasa (grade 11), Jinny Lee (grade 11) & Rachele Laride (grade 11).
These students have a passion for singing and their talents have grown and thrived under the direction of Choral teacher Ms. Taylor Collishaw.

After 98 full years, Art Nordaman, former Point Grey physics teacher, recently passed away. A memorial service will be held for family and friends on October 19, 2012 at 1:30pm at Shaughnessy Heights United Church, 1550 West 33rd Avenue, Vancouver B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the BC Cancer Foundation.
