Science 9/Honor

Prerequisite: Science 8

The topics to be covered are:
• Processes and skills of science
• Reproduction
• Atoms, elements and compounds
• Characteristics of electricity
• Space exploration

A final cross grade examination may be written in June.

Science 9 Honor

Prerequisite: Science 8 and a recommendation from current Science teacher

This course is an extension of Science 8 for students with a high
aptitude for science and mathematics. The course will deal with the
Grade 9 Science core curriculum at a higher level of involvement in
both laboratory work and theory.
